THE MATERIALS

I love wood! I love the patterns, colors and textures. I like the contrast between the classic side of wood and the more design-oriented side of mosaics. I juxtapose Canadian and exotic wood species in a harmonious marriage of colors and textures. Where does the wood I use come from? Mainly from woodworkers: I get their unused boards, their scraps! The species that I don't use, I buy them from a wood importer. Of course, I take care to check the origin and the way the wood is cut.
