All components other than wood are made of Stainless steel. Stainless steel is skin safe. No allergic reaction . No spot on the neck.

Freshwater Pearls: Freshwater pearls encompass all types of pearls cultured in mussels from freshwater rivers or lakes. Some varieties of mussels can accommodate up to 60 pearl grafts at a time. Sourced in China.
